My Father's World?
Horizons Language Arts?
Singapore Math?


I have used MFW for my 1st grader and will again in 2nd grade. He sails along in Singapore Math, and is already in 2A, in the 1st grade.
I haven't used Horizons though but it looks like my ds and I will do good with it.
Any comments, advice with any of these?

I use Singapore math for my 6 year old. We both like it except for the fact that it reviews stuff too much and beats it into the ground. I finally got to a point where I had her do a few pages of something totally solo with no help and no mistakes and if she can breeze through it with almost no effort we from that point on skip any pages that review that skill. Having made that adjustment, we like it just fine.

That sounds like my ds. He flies thru Singapore Math. I add supplements off the internet to challenge him more than Singapore Math does. So far that seems to work for us.
