What's your favorite free blog service?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to start up an Etsy business and a blog to accompany it. What is your favorite free blog service and why?

I voted Wordpress. Its easy to work wiht and has a TON of addons. If you decide to move it to your own host later its an easy move as well.

I've used livejournal.com for YEARS and have always liked it. Just recently, I used blogger for a travel blog and that worked out well too.

LJ has a feature called LJ Cut that allows you to hide part of your post behind a link. This keeps the posts from being too huge and can make your page load faster if you upload a lot of pictures behind the cut.

LJ also allows you to post either public, friends only, or private. For a business, it seems like the only value that might have is allowing you to offer something special to your 'friends' that no one else can see, or allowing you to post a draft as private while you finish working on it.

I'm sure other sites have those features as well, but in the few weeks that I used blogger I didn't see them.

Blogger is nice because I think it's easier for people to follow since so many people already use some sort of gmail or blogger. I also think it might be more popular, which means you'll get more hits of people looking through random blogs.
