Any midwife (CPM) recommendations for MA/RI/NH?

Hi there, I'm open for referrals for CPMs in the MA/RI/NH area...we'll be living in Cambridge, MA during the birth (hopefully--not preggers yet but planning/hoping to be very very soon!)

I'm a CNM student and fond of CNMs of course, but since CNMs in MA and RI can't do homebirth I'd like CPM referrals. If anyone has anyone they loved, please let me know :-) I'm happy to hear CNM referrals for NH where some of them do do homebirths.

Also, if any one has experience at the Cambridge Birth Center or the birth center in Milford, NH I'd love to hear it. (Sorry if there's already a thread with this info somewhere else..)

There are a bunch of great CPMs in MA! I don't have experience with most of them, but if you post this on the local board in Finding Your Tribe, you're sure to get a lot of responses.

Massachusetts CPMs

Try checking out the Massachusetts Midwives Alliance website http://www.massmidwives.org There is a long list of MA midwives on this site. Many blessings on your pregnancy and birth.

I've heard good things about Paige Eastman (I hope I got that name right) in MA. She's on MDC too. Check out the finding your tribe area for MA and do a search for her. Lots of mamas love her.

When I lived in MA I had DS1 at Brigham & Womens with Mary Gosney, she was a great CNM.

Deborah Allen is in Cambridge, experienced and amazing.

Deborah Allen, in Cambridge as someone else just mentioned, was my MW for my HBAC last month. We were very happy w/ her and w/ our birth experience.

I interviewed Valerie Jacques at Coastal Birth Retreat and thought she was OK, but a bit too focused on policies rather than individual needs, if that makes sense.

I'd suggest posting on the CT, MA, RI "Finding Your Tribe" board. You'll probably get more replies there.
