She's 14 yo a border collie mix. No health problems at all.

last night for a few minutes she walked liked she was drunk. a few minutes after that, dh took her for a walk and she was fine. later that night when she got up to go outside to pee, she was again stumbling around, swaggering like she was drunk. it didnt look like she was favoring either side.

now this morning she cant stand up at all. just waiting for the vets office to call.

wondering if anyone has a clue..........

thanks

Stroke or seizure? I hope the vet can give you some answers!

This happened to our geriatric dog and the vet thought it was likely a brain tumor.

I was going to say that it sounded like old dog vestibular syndrome. My in-laws dog had an episode last Dec. while they were gone on vacation. Their dog has almost totally recovered, she just tilts her head when she's tired. Good luck and know that most cases go away completely in a few weeks.
