I was going to put this in reviews, but I had a few different brands to compare, so I thought I'd post here instead.
We need waterproof, PUL pull-ups for DS for DC, so I went on the hunt - I order 4 brands after reviews and costs... The Starbunz Superundies Trainer, the Imse Vimse Organic Trainer, and 2 WAHM trainers from Hyenacart - Batikbum and Rockstarbabywear (which ended up being my 2 favorites!).
My son has fairly thick thighs 12" and a narrow waist. We fit well into L Blueberry diapers even though he's only 22-23 lbs. I chose all of these based on the thigh size on the ordering charts, not the weight.
1) Starbunz - $17.95 - These were HUGE! The thigh fit, but the waist was big and there was just sooo much extra fabric. I mean, we could've put an extra toddler PF in there for night - which might be what you are looking for...
2) IV - $13.50 - waist and thighs fit better - I might have been able to go down an size, but still, there was quite a bit of extra fabric.
I ended up returning 1 & 2 before testing waterproofness...
3) Batik Bum - $13.75 - Really nice - very trim, good fit. Not to tight in the waist so he can pull up and down easy. The PUL doesn't go around all the way, which adds stretch, but it will went any pants that are over it if you have a full accident. So maybe not good for overnight or for a car (she has separate overnight ones on her site that I haven't tried yet). Really nice prints too, and soft FOE elastic. Shipping is actual FC shipping, I was able to get a custom slot just by e-mailing her.
4) Rock Star Baby Wear - $10 - Best value over all. PUL goes all around except for a bit at the sides to give stretch to pull up. E-mail her for customs as she doesn't have anything stocked. she can do a fun print on the inner and at the sides, and a colored outer, and a coordinating FOE. The only gripe is that I should have sent her a measurement with a little extra room in the waist so that DS can more easily pull this up. and the seams on the sides are not hidden, but they are soft so its not a big deal. Will hold an accident. Perfect for the car - limited for overnight, great for DC that doesn't want to deal with accidents all the time. Price can't be beat.
