Ok, my DH is a big tough cop, can't share his feelings very easily. His personality reminds me of the farmer on "Babe". He's very quiet.
So, when he does share his feelings it is a HUGE deal. He's not showing any outward signs of being happy about pregnancy, lol.....
But in the middle of the night (he works nights so stays up late on his day's off) he's been coming into our room when he thinks I'm asleep......and laying his hand gently on my belly, kissing my forehead....and then just laying his head on the pillow next to mine, inhaling my exhale for a while. Then he'll whisper, "I love you so much." and sneak out again.
If he knew I was awake, he'd never do that.
Then......I got nosey, wanted to see if he was poking around on pregnancy sites (he did last time, looking at developement calendars etc) so I looked in the history....do you know what he's doing? He's all over consumer reports, looking up crash test results on new SUVs and researching the safest carseats. According to what he's bookmarked, it seems he's chosen the Sunshine Radian XT.
Isn't it amazing how secretively sweet a shy man can be?

I had one of those moments last pregnancy. We were living with my parents at the time 3 of us (Dh, myself, and DS1) in one room. DS1 slept in a packnplay in the closet and DH and I fit ourselves on a Full sized mattress. Well DH came in to bed late one night (he was delivering Pizzas at the time) and when he climbed over me to get in bed I started to turn over (I was half awake, but still aware.) He tought I was falling off the bed so he grabbed me real fast and pulled me close to keep me from falling. Then he kissed my forehead and laid me down back to sleep.
