So, I have a list of books to read before I die (nice, huh?) and I'm flying through it. I have maybe 10 books left and am wanting to add more. So, I need your help!

What are your 5 favorite books? Funny, sad, happy, witty, life-changing, fluff, deep, whatever.

Let me know!

Thanks A&A!

I really liked Tuesdays With Morrie (although I liked his other 2 even better), The Grapes of Wrath and Death of a Salesman. The Color of Water is on my list but I've never heard of Peace Like A River.

Thanks KYCat!

The Harry Potter series is the closest to my heart (probably in all of literature). I enjoyed To Kill A Mockingbird and LOVED A Prayer For Owen Meany! Never heard of Good Omens and/or Bel Canto, I'll have to give those a looksy.

As for Twilight... not so much. The first was good, the second okay, the third blah and I didn't even bother with the fourth. Maybe if I get desperate enough, LOL.

To Kill A Mockingbird
The Time Traveler's Wife
Pride & Prejudice
The Five People You Will Meet In Heaven (which is ironic, since I'm agnostic)

The Five People You Meet in Heaven is one of my fav. books of all-time (For One More Day is amazing too!), loved Wicked (Son of A Witch was good). The Time Traveller's Wife is on my list and I'm going back and forth deciding whether to read Pride & Prejudice. Unfortunately, I saw the movie first (I HATE when that happens) so I'm undecided.

THANKS.

These are GREAT. Keep 'em coming!

I'm just finishing up Till We have Faces by C.S. Lewis and then I'm headed for the library!

Angela's Ashes is already on my list, do you specifically recommend any of his other books?

I'm such a book nerd, I am stalking this thread like a crazy person.

I'd read them in order, Angela's Ashes, 'Tis, and Teacher Man. Angela's Ashes is definitely the best though.

I'm a big Hemingway fan too, so any of his books would be good.
