Menu help..Veggie grad party in park for 30-60+ teens

Hi All,

My DSD and her BF are graduating from HS and have decided to have a graduation party in a local park. DSD has recently become a vegetarian and wants to only have vegetarian food for the party. However, many of her friends (including BF) are not especially adventurous eaters and dislike many vegetables and many commonly served veggie foods.

I'm in the process of pulling together a menu for the veggie grad party in the park from noon to 4 PM. There's no refrigeration or electrical source for heating stuff up... I'd love to hear your best ideas for what to serve!

I'm currently thinking:
* Hummus and pita bread/dipping veggies
* Egg salad for sandwiches
* Assorted sliced cheese
*Assorted chips & dips/salsa etc..
* possibly bagels & cream cheese?
* Assorted veggies for sandwiches and dipping (tomatoes, cukes, carrots..)
* watermelon
* Graduation cake and sweets etc..

Any other ideas, especially for finger food/sandwich fillings, that will keep well in a cooler in a park and will appeal to a potentially large group of teens having a variety of food preferences?? Cheap is also preferred. I'll be tremendously appreciative of any ideas or tips you may have!! Thanks in advance,

StillForest

Make a mexican bean dip....refried beans, salsa, sour cream etc. Everyone loves that.
