Cdn Ped.Soc allies with formula companies

I got a copy of an email from INFACT Canada (Infant Feeding Action Coalition) about the Canadian Pediatric Society's upcoming conference, and its sponsorship by four of the big formula companies. Unfortunately I can't find a link to send you to on their website and don't want to violate UA rules by copying it here. But a letter/email writing campaign is afoot, so if you want the details, please PM me, or if anyone knows of a link with this info please post it. INFACT included a form letter that can be sent to the Executive Director of CPS and the conference organizer.

I just googled and found this:
http://www.cps.ca/English/annualconf...8/sponsors.asp

If it violates any rules to post it, please let me know and I'll edit.

Abbott Nutrition makes Similac (as found on Abbott's webpage - I googled)
Not sure about any of the other sponsors, but Nestle is listed in the exhibitors, of course.

Hmmmm...What would it take to get a breastfeeding education table at the trade show, do you suppose?

Mead Johnson makes Enfamil, and Wyeth makes formula as well. here's the facebook group that includes a letter that you can use to mail to the directors (whose names are also included):
