A couple of odd ball type questions -

We planted a blueberry bush early this spring. Now it seems that there is an ant hill (colony?) around the root area of the bush. So far it doesn't seem to be effecting the bush, but was wondering if it would be an issue. At this point it just seems that the soil is extra aerated.

We planted three kinds of radishes this year - purple celebration, pink celebration, and white icicle. The pink and purple ones grew as expected (and so tasty) whereas the white icicle ones were great at forming leaves, but where you expect a nice icicle radish you get this skinny little thing. They had plenty of room to grow and we did get a few, maybe 10 of the 60+ plants we had. What would cause this?

TIA!
