We are unsure for now.

Last time we wanted a homebirth but were let down by our midwife and ended up at a lovely birthing centre. We enjoyed it and said we would go back with the next one, but now we hear that the birthing centre is taking elective c-sections and as it only has a few rooms a lot of the natural birth mommies are being turned away and sent to a normal hospital where they don't allow water & active birth

I would rather homebirth if that is the case!

I plan to speak to my midwife about it and see what she has to say, as she attends births there and homebirths.

We had to have a hospital birth with DD due to Gestational Diabetes...which was very, very well controlled.

So, I am making sure that I have a homebirth midwife this time around that will allow me to: first off, not do the GTT with the glucose syrup drink as a test (she uses HgA1C three time during pregnancy to monitor blood sugar) and second, continue with home birth as long as all numbers are under control.

My perinatalogist last time told me my DD would be nearly 11 pounds at delivery, with ultrasounds every week! I am petite woman, and delivered a 6 lb. 6 oz. daughter. What a crock!

If a singleton and no complications I am planning on a homebirth, but I am keeping my options open right now so I voted undecided.

Unassisted homebirth for us, I think... there's no birth center where we're moving, and our first was born in about two hours total. That would be pushing it for a midwife to make it to our house, especially since the idiot midwife who attended his birth stretched it out... I'm estimating 30 minutes to an hour for this kiddo. I wanted an unassisted homebirth the first time, but DH wasn't into it. This time, we're both excited by the prospect.

We have a local freestanding birth center that I would like to use. I would like a homebirth, but we live in a third floor walkup and I want access to those big tubs, darn it!

If I get a job and we end up moving, I'll look for something similar or go for a homebirth. Either way, the hospital is not for me unless there is a medical need for it.
