Disposable liners?

Does anyone use disposable liners in their cloth diapers (for ease of removing poop)? I have a terrible time removing DD's poop from all the kinds of cloth diapers we've used. What liners do you like best in terms of working well and the cost? Is there anything cheaper I can use for the same purpose, like I don't think this would work well but a paper towel or something, you get the idea. Any thoughts?

I've used a couple different liners. Of the flushable kind, I've used Bummis and Imse Vimse. I like the Imse Vimse for the size and how the catch the poo, but Bummis are softer and I feel like they would break down quicker (and that's good for us, since we use a septic tank. Also, the IV you can reuse if they just have pee (I just wash them with my dipes), but the Bummis you cannot because they disintegrate in the wash.

We often use fleece liners, which we wash, but the advantage is that the poop comes off them much much easier than natural fibers (I hate getting poop off prefolds). You can buy them online, but it's pretty easy to go to joann's or walmart and pick up some fleece, cut it to size, lay it in the diaper! Then a quick flick or dunk will get the poop off. Easy peasy. That way I don't have to keep buying liners, but the fleece ones are cheap so I don't feel bad throwing them out if they get old or stained or whatever.

Lots of people use diaper sprayers, but the liners worked well for us, so i never felt the need.

btw, I never tried a paper towel, I doubt that would be flushable...but I did try toilet paper and boy was that a bad idea! It just disintegrated with the pee and turned into a crumbly mess.

I've tried these in size large but they didn't really contain the poop. After she runs around, they wad up and become pointless.

We used flushable liners with DS1 when he was in childcare, to make it easy for the teachers. I think they were Bummis. We didn't have the issue mentioned by pp. We used them in Fuzzi Bunz.

Now we use a sprayer. It is messy... it sprays everywhere unless I am careful. But I like the idea of the nice diapers being the thing that touches my children's bottoms and I don't like scraping poop off diapers with tp...

We are currently using liners we got with a package with some new diapers. They work great to contain DS' poop and I like being able to just flush the liner. We also hooked up a sprayer so any stray poop we can spray off, I don't think I'll bother with liners again now that I have the sprayer. If you make sure to point the hose straight down into the toilet it doesn't spray everywhere for me, sometimes the toilet gets a little wet but no big deal. I bet you could get some nice fabric washable liners and they would work too, at least you don't have to dunk the whole diaper, just the liner so it wouldn't be as messy.

Kushies

I've used the Kushies, mainly because we could get them pretty cheap ($4 Canadian a roll). They were useful when we've used them with older babies and toddlers, but whenever we've not bothered to use them I didn't miss them either.

Is there a specific kind of fleece to use to make a liner? It seems like some fleece (like the inside of a bumgenius) absorbs and other kinds of fleece repel liquid. Are there any other types of meterial that would work well and could just be cut up without stitching around the edge?
Thanks!
