We have our new baby boy!!
: Noah Edward was born June 1, 10:59am. He weighed 7lb 9.7oz and was 20.5 inches long. We got home from the hospital today and he is doing great. He loves to nurse. I am just so in love and I wish I could stop time so I could savor his littleness even more
Our older kids think he's pretty cool, too!
Our 39 week induction at night with Cervadil didn't really do anything, so we started pitocin the next morning and that went very well. Noah had some heart decels throughout the night and during labor and during pushing his heartrate was pretty bad, I think, and the dr. said if he didn't come out in the next contraction she'd have to use the vacuum. But I got it together and pushed him out then and he had a nuchal cord around his neck and 2 more around his body. He had a bit of a slow start for the first 15 minutes or so, which was extremely nervewracking though everyone was reassuring us that he would be fine. Which he was! Everything was normal after that.
I just love my kids so much!
I can't wait to catch up on posts and read about all the other babies who have arrived while I've been offline!!!!!
Congrats everyone and I'm also thinking of all you moms still waiting on your little ones. You have so much fun ahead!!!
