Recycling PUL?

Hope I am posting in the correct place.

I have some old Mother-ease PUL covers. The PUL is giving out around the gussets, it leaks real bad. Other than that the diaper is in decent shape and the PUL works fine. Is there a way to mend this or a way to recycle the good PUL? I just hate to throw away a decent piece of material that still has some good use of it. Any ideas or suggestions?

i used some worn out covers to make mama pads and they held up great.
