Does blogger have a password setting

I have looked and looked and can't seem to find one....or should I just copy to a new blog and start over? What sites have password protected for readers?

Do you mean that you want your blog to be private? If that's the case, go to "Settings" and choose "Permissions." "Readers" is the second item. You'll need to enter them, and then they'll have to log in to read your blog.
