Is the Green Pan OK?

My DH loves his teflon pan, knows they're bad, but can't kick the habit . He picked up this Green Pan at Target. Are they any better or is it just marketing?

I really don't know... but I doubt I'd ever buy/use one. Cast iron is just as nonstick IME as a teflon pan once properly seasoned, and totally free of any worries over safety...

there's so much greenwashing these days, it's really really hard to trust the claims they're making

cast iron is easy once you get used to it

My friend bought one and it is not as non stick as teflon. I would just stick with cast-iron.

I bought a green pan, too (when we went gf, I was having trouble with things sticking to my cast iron). Anyway, it's not that non-stick AND the coating wore off really quickly, which means that chemicals were leaching out. Yuck. I wouldn't recommend them.
