My 3.5 yo dd has always been high mainteneance, but she's recently gotten into a new place where she is playing happily by herself for HOURS- I never thought this day would come 
: I sah, we coslept for 2.5 years, she's just now starting to sttn, and I feel like I've been "on duty" 24/7 since she was born. But this-- this is just wonderful! I've been on a cleaning kick this morning, and she watched one 30-minute show on PBS, then turned the tv off herself and has been puttering around the house ever since. Right now she's upstairs packing her little suitcase and singing to herself 
We keep weaving in and out of eachother's activities, and it's so nice to be near eachother, interacting while we do our own things-- my home is such a happy, peaceful place today! Just wanted to share the joy!
