Are you freaking kidding me? I mean I am ALMOST 32 weeks pregnant here and WTH am I doing?

Since 12:30 I have: taken out 4 bags of trash and 6 bags of recycling, swept, and mopped with bleach water my back entrance to the apartment, the patio, bathroom, and kitchen. I have de linted the couches, wiped them down and sprayed them with fabric freshener. washed and hung out a load of clothes. Cleaned Abrielle's room, watered my herbs and plants, painted a craft project and completed it and now I am going to work on the kitchen and my room, then shower and get ready to go out and pay bills with DP when he gets home. Did I mention it is ONLY 3:30... LOL

WTH is wrong with me??????? LOL

Do you want to come over?

So far I've done a little (very little) work from home and gone to a prenatal appt. The end.

I did sit in the car while DH went to the bank.

I spend all day at work thinking about nesting and all the things I need to do, then I'm too tired to do anything in the evenings and weekends. Today I doodled an ambitious furniture rearrangement for three rooms which involves moving furniture in from my dad's storage unit, switching three bookcases full of books and a computer from one room to another, getting rid of a bunch of stuff, and basically swapping furniture from room to room. I think I'm delusional, lol!

I have every desire and urge to nest- but none of the energy to carry any of it out. Ack and only 7 1/2 weeks left until my c-section. Help! I need to prioritize!

I need some of that. There is so much I could be doing and no motivation to actually do it. Blah.

If it makes you feel any better I scrubbed the grout between our tiles in the bathtub with a toothbrush

And I never got a nesting instinct with my first one. I was happy sitting on my butt doing as little as possible even being past due. Maybe this one will be different.

Never had nesting with DS but... I am getting spurts of nesting like feelings here. Mine mostly get sidetracked with DS though but I cant wait to see if I will go into a full blown nesting mode!!:

Well, I at least got a spurt of energy today. Not sure if it counts as nesting, but I'm taking advantage of it. LOL

I am FINALLY getting a LITTLE energy and feeling like I can get a few projects done. Both my previous pregnancies my entire 2nd trimester was energy-filled and I got tons of things done. Not this time. But now, at 30 weeks, I feel like I'm starting to be able to make some progress around the house instead of bare minimum maintainence (and VERY bare minimum, may I add!)

In my fantasy world, we'd finish re-doing the bathroom before this baby comes but I think I am in la-la land if I believe it'll actually happen. :-)

SO last night when DP got home, we left immediatly with my handy dandy list. We got all the things I listed to make the house more comfy and to help me not go nuts. When we got home, we put some furniture together (it was 9PM mind you), then I proceeded to mop and sweep the entire front hallway and my downstairs neighbors landings as well. LOL At about 10 PM DP peaked his head out of the door and asked if I was done so we could take a bath. I finished up and we did that, then we logged our expenditures in our monthly report and wrote out the bills. Then we went to bed.

THis morning I vacuumed all my rugs with my new vacuum 2 times each, went to the bank, family dollar, paid some more bills and then came home to wash my cloth diapers 2 times and hang them out to dry.

LOL YEAH.. IT'S BAD.

OH and I assembled my birth kit and filed all our bills with our new filing system. HAHAHA..

This weekend is yard sales to get kitchen chairs and then the aquarium with the kids possibly. Tonight we are having a going away party for MIL who is moving to FL. I assembled a relaxation basket for her as well. LOL Did I mention I am about to cook for my mans LARGE LOUD HUNGRY family. LOL

I've been nesting, but wow! Just reading about your nesting has exhausted me so much, I just may stop.

LOL. Now my MIL is bringing over boxes of stuff that she has for DP, so I get to put it all away now. HAHA. More stuff to do.

Could you send some of that energy over here plz? I can hardly stand for longer than 10 minutes without my feet starting to throb. And I get tired after an hour of activity or less.

I think my version of nesting so far is napping. I've been up for almost 2 hours and I'm about to go take a nap before heading off to my son's end of baseball season party.

The thing is, I want my house clean and organized and fresh, but I don't want to do the actual work to get it that way! LOL

I nested like mad with dd2... pulled all the shelves out of the fridge and scrubbed everything! I'm sort of hoping it happens again since the fridge hasn't been cleaned like that since then.

The day I was treated for PTL I was also prepping for DH's relatives to arrive and the nesting urge kicked in... I couldn't do much, but I wanted to.

Wombat- I am totally laughing about your fridge. I TOTALLY forgot about the fridge. Although mine is 4 weeks old, but I AM SURE there is SOMETHING to clean in there today.

I am taking it easy right now since DP's kids are here and I wanted to spend time with them and the house is bound to be trashed with 3 kids here. LOL

I'm only 29 weeks and I am thinking the nesting is kicking in over here too....this is eaarly for me....it started with the fridge looking icky, I took everything out, even the drawers, scrubbed the whole thing, then cleaned the kitchen, washed dishes, counters, stovetop, kitchen table, walls, fronts of cupboards, swept and mopped the whole house, cleaned the birdcages, vaccuumed all the carpets, shampooed two of them, cleaned dd and ds's bedrooms, washed and put away three loads of laundry, and watered all the plants. Then I made chicken friend steak, mashed potatoes, cream gravy, and gf chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream FROM SCRATCH. If you knew me IRL you would fall over with shock. I am constantly depleted of energy and it's hard just to get by with the necessary washing of daily dishes w/ no dishwasher. Something's definitely coming over me. Well, in spurts. It's gone today.

That was yesterday.

Today I made mac n cheese and have been sitting around watching Food Network.
