Nesting??? - Page 2

I had a burst of energy today, so I made a huge "countdown to baby" poster/calendar to organize my thoughts/tasks (Oh the teacher in me!) I don't have tasks on there yet- but major appts and events. I had dh get more baby stuff down from the attic- now I have to sort through it all, pull out what we need right away and send the rest up to the attic. (I'm a little overwhelmed with that at the moment.) I've been running loads of laundry and deciding where stuff will go. (Baby will co-sleep with us, but most of her stuff will be in DD's room.) I feel completely ADD though- I can't seem to focus on a project long enough to finish it, so there is barely any place to walk in our house! (Closets look like they exploded, baby stuff everywhere, dishes in the sink etc.) I think I need to summon some of the troops for help! LOL
I have two girlfriends who have offered to help me- I think I may take them up on it!

Then I made chicken friend steak, mashed potatoes, cream gravy, and gf chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream FROM SCRATCH. If you knew me IRL you would fall over with shock. I am constantly depleted of energy and it's hard just to get by with the necessary washing of daily dishes w/ no dishwasher. Something's definitely coming over me. Well, in spurts. It's gone today.

That was yesterday.

Today I made mac n cheese and have been sitting around watching Food Network.
OK well I am coming over for dinner the next time you have a "spurt" haha.

What's funny is my nesting seems to be almost "triggered" by normal activities. I remember last time it was much more focused... I'd wake up and be like "I'm going to do x y z and p q r today!" and even with a toddler and a full time job I'd somehow manage to get the whole ridiculous list done (or burst into tears and collapse on the couch if I didn't )

But this time it seems like I'll start something totally normal (a load of laundry) and the next thing I know I'm washing the sheets, and the throw rugs, and everything that has been/will be in storage, and the covers from the chairs, and summer jackets, etc. So the normal chore seems to trigger the crazy nesting urge.

lol!
I'm 30 weeks tomorrow, and I've been so busy this last week that DH said that I was doing so much nesting, maybe we were off on the due date and Baby would really be here in a few days.
Really it's just that my house was in terrible shape and I was tired of it, getting ready for company, and actually had a small bit of energy. But I was glad that my (much neater) husband noticed and appreciated all of my extreme cleaning.

My bursts tend to be triggered by other normal tasks. I want to sweept the entire front stairway today though and mop it all and put a plug in freshener in the downstairs because it STINKS down there. But anyway. It's raining here and that will keep me in the house and keep me nuts.

I got the electric bill and it was 47$ so I have to cut down my laundry to 3 days per week, so I am going to be bored. HAHA. Maybe I will work on all three of my cross stitch projects. OOOOO PROJECT
