baby food recipes?

It has been a looong time since I needed to make my own baby food (my youngest is 8) so I am in need of some help! This is for a project for work. I work at a natural foods co-op. Back in January, I was interviewed for an article on making your own baby food. My take on it was that it was ridiculously simple. I even got my picture in the paper. So this has garnered me the title "The Baby Food Lady" and I have been invited to give a presentation at a local farmers' market. (If you live in Maryland, come see me at the Mt. Airy Farmers' Market on July 8.) So... they want me to give a presentation and possibly hand out samples. Whenever I made my own baby food, it usually consisted of whatever veggies I was making for my family and I would just mush them up and feed them to the littlest family member. That doesn't exactly make for a tasty treat for adults! I got the recipes off the Mothering site, and think I'll give those a try. I know of some good books to look into, but I would really like some tips and tricks from those of you still feeding wee ones. What tastes good? What are your family favorites? What is something easy to prepare, especially with me having access only to a baby food grinder and probably no kitchen appliances?
Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Baked sweet potatoes are really good. Just bake, peel, then mash. For adults, I add butter, salt, pepper, and chipotle, too. For babies, they eat it plain.

I often do oatmeal, too. Just steel cut oats, then puree it (I use a mini food processor). It's good with fruits added in (peaches are good this time of year). This is also really easy, cause the rest of the family eats the same thing as baby.

Split pea soup is an easy one, too.

And my baby is weird. He loves cornbread that is crumbled into pot likker from greens (like turnips, collards, mustard, etc). This isn't that weird for adults to eat where I live, but it is odd for babies to like it.
