I am as afraid to tell my Mom as a 16 year old would be
laughup Too Funny!

AFM, I just started some heavy spotting so it's not looking too good. I know in my heart that I will be having another healthy baby so if not meant to be this time then maybe the next time!

Impossible to catch up with everyone but to all...

My baby turned six months old yesterday and is officially rolling over and sitting up!

Just had to share that we had a "naming and blessing" ceremony for Eliza Jane yesterday, and in the course of researching the women for whom she is named (three Eliza Janes between my family and dh's) I found out that Eliza Jane the elder (born February 1822) gave birth to her youngest daughter (of seven children total), also named Eliza Jane, in April 1869. Do the math, ladies!

I am proud to have given birth to her namesake at age 45. :

I am eagerly awaiting news of Veganmama's baby!

Kblmh...I'm so sorry. Be kind to yourself.

Juneau, good to see you back here. Thanks for dropping in with an update on your daughter.
VM, how are you feeling? You're so close....it's so hard to believe! 2 weeks to go? Wow.

Hi ladies,

I recognize a lot of names on here -- I've popped in and out of this thread since ds2 was born (four years ago!). I am 43 and will turn 44 in September.

We haven't used birth control since ds2 was born but haven't been charting or anything. This month my cycle was extra long (35 days instead of 26-27) and extra heavy (6 days instead of 3-4) and I'm wondering if I had an early miscarriage. It all just hit me yesterday and I'm still very much processing -- talked to dh at some length about it tonight.

I'm thinking of diving back into TTC and maybe trying a little harder -- I don't know yet. I've enjoyed reading this thread and seeing all the new babies and BFPs!

Karen, I'm so sorry. . I hope it's a step toward a sticky bean, soon. I know that even when you know the positives it is so sad/disappointing, too.

Welcome, Meli! I had an early miscarriage recently and it was much like you described--if I hadn't been charting it would have looked like a slightly longer than normal cycle and I did have more days of bleeding. I hope the processing you are doing leads you to clarity.

Juneau, I love the Eliza Jane story. Thanks for stopping by.
