question

hi lovelies,

i have a symptom during my luteal phase that i haven't noticed until last cycle. i can only describe it as an achiness in my labia/yoni entrance. like there's increased blood flow there.

has anyone experienced this? any speculation as to why it might be happening?

xoxo

I read this article this morning and the fact that it was on mainstream news really surprised me. http://lifestyle.msn.com/your-life/r...7199&gt1=32035

Any one get major ferns on day 5?

Hi Mamas,
I have been getting ferns on days 5-8. I thought when I was pregnant with my last (age 39) that I had ovulated twice- two dips and rises and everything! I actually felt twins for months, though I'm not an u/s'er so who knows. Anyway, is this just the perimenopause stuff or ??? Any thoughts would be great!

Thanks,
Amy

I had something that felt like increased blood flow, but to me it felt more like mild stimulation, rather than achiness. That was a pg symptom for me. :

AFM, I am CD13, no fertile CM yet, but BD-fest, soon. Dh and I have been so exhausted lately, it's a little hard to imagine. But I pretty confident the trusty hormones and chemistry will kick in.

Lisa, dh also worries about what birth parents would have done to baby (me too, but not as intensely), so he would definitely want to adopt a newborn if we went that route. I'm not thinking about adoption as intensely now. It is there, but I'm not ready to give up on the biological route. Both routes have their challenges, but that seems the simpler and more desirable one now. After not getting my plan so many times, I am starting to be more open to what happens. Though it has not been the most fun process (to say the least) I see the good in that.

Vegan - Woohoo! Right around the corner! It seems like you just announced your BFP!

MsGB - Thanks for posting the article!

Hi everyone!

Aw, you are all so sweet! Thanks for all your support!

Unfortunately the saliva scope doesn't work well for me, I ferned most of the cycle. Apparently it is a sign of perimenopause and the scope doesn't work that well for "older" ladies.

But hey, I did get PG so that in and of itlesf is not a insurmountable hurdle!

Ya the scope is on and off with me. I bought a bunch of internet OPKS I like them better.

Hi all, I'm back after a couple months of "life" intruding... still very busy but we are going to try again this month after not for a couple of months.
...I still have things working against me, but what the heck.
Going to read through the recent posts now - hope all are well and at least some are great!

I'm glad to hear the scopes are off with others. I'm tired of spitting on that thing anyway! Guess I'll give it to a youngin'!!

Thanks!

Hi

Veganmama sending you positive labor vibes. I hope you have a wonderful birth experience.

Ompath welcome back and good luck this month.

AFM I still have the post miscarriage weird cycle going on. I have had 8 days of light bleeding. I hope this means this is actually a period and I am starting a new cycle. Hopefully, a normal cycle not this weirdo one I have been having.

Veganmama - I can only imagine how excited you must be!

Kristin - I hope this is indeed the start of a new cycle for you, hoping it is a lucky one for you!

ompath- Welcome back, nice to see you on here again.

AFM - 12dpo and waiting.... I find the last few days of the TWW the hardest, the first few were exciting, but after so many disappointments as AF arrives each cycle, after good timing and a nice looking chart, it is hard to have that optimism. Still keeping a little hope in the background.

Best of luck to all the others in their TWW.

thank you for the fingers crossed ! it would have to be a miracle, since we are not trying right now (and using condoms !), but . . . i can't help hoping, and praying. it was a powerful full moon and O for me. well, we'll soon see, as i am 10dpo today

Yesterday the first thing ds said to me in the morning was "Do you have a baby in your tummy?" After talking about that, I got up and found EWCF. I'm taking it as a good sign. We BD last night, but no temp shift this morning, so we get to add more swimmers to the mix, soon. I'm on CD15 which would be on the early side for me to O.

Halifax, I know what you mean, the early part of the TWW is more fun/less stressful for me, too. I hope this is it for you!

Ompath, welcome back!

Veganmama, I love having you around here, too. And I'm sending you tons of good wishes no matter how much we see you in the coming weeks. However, I will be stalking this thread for news.

Here's a fertility fairy with fertile wishes for us all
