Hi,

I've planted two batches now of oregon sugar snap peas that appear to have been attacked by cutworms right after they sprout. I did collars on some as they were coming up, but was busy the last 2 days and didn't get out in garden Came out today to find the same fate as the last batch...all but one chomped down. Sooo.....I planted the last 45 or so seeds I had in containers this time (vs. raised bed)...will that make any difference? Do cutworms live naturally in soil? Should I still collar in containers? Is it getting too late to plant from seed (I'm in Zone 5). Peas are one of my fav veggies :, so I'm pretty disappointed.

Thanks
