I went to see this tonight, and am I going nuts or was that Dr. Jay Gordon sitting at the table in the diner scene?

Anyone catch that?

I'm so confused! I've been trying to find out, and I did find this:

in which it lists "Jay Gordon" as an actor who appeared in the diner scene! But what in the world would Dr. Jay Gordon be doing in Drag me to Hell?

Is he an actor on the side? Is this some kind of outrageous coincidence?

No idea, but is it possible that they were filming in a real, actual diner and asked for releases from people who were there at the time? Gave them screen credit when the scene really did end up in the film and people were visible?

Or possibly they put out an open call for extras to be in a scene and people just showed up if they wanted to do it? I've done that before, a loooooong time ago! Doesn't mean he's an actor on the side, just a lark probably.

Who is Dr. Jay Gordon?

Googled him.

Thought he was maybe YOUR doctor ( is he?) and you were excited to see a friend.

He's like the new Dr. Sears?

My kids are older now.

Clicked on his name in the credits and it says he was the medical consultant for another film, which I assume means that he has some medical training. So could be him.

OT - but I loved this movie!! I thought it was the perfect mix of scary and funny. Not as funny as Army of Darkness, by any means! But still a thumbs up, nonetheless.

How is that possible? It's a different guy who looks exactly like him and has his exact name? lol This is weird.

Jay Gordon is a pediatrician in Florida who is speaking out against the current vaccine program.
