urgent help needed asap! 2 color lattice pattern issues

i need to finish this project asap. ughhhh.
im converting a straight pattern into circular and i must be doing something wrong.
this is the pattern for straight knitting-

CO with Color A and knit one row.

Row 1 (RS): With Color B, k1, sl1, k4, sl2; rep from, end k4, sl1, k1
Row 2: With Color B, p1, sl1, p4, sl2; rep from, end p4, sl1, p1
Row 3: With Color A, rep Row 1
Row 4: With Color A, p1, sl1, k4, sl2; rep from, end k4, sl1, p1
Rows 5: With Color B, k3, sl2, k4; rep from, end sl2, k3
Row 6: With Color B, p3, sl2, p4; rep from, end sl2, p3
Row 7: With Color A, rep Row 5
Row 8: With Color A, p1, k2, sl2, k4; rep from, end sl2, k2, p1

since i am knitting in the round ( and got help to drop those 2 stitches from you lovely ladies) i changed it to this:

row 1 color b: sl2 k4 repeat to end
row 2 color b: sl2 k4 repeat to end
row 3 color a: repeat row 1
row 4 color a: sl2 p4 repeat to end
row 5: color b: k3 sl2,k4 repeat from to end
row 6 color b: same as row 5
row 7 color a repeat row 5
row 8 color a sl2 p4 repeat to end

did i goof up something in converting it for in the round? it doesn’t look right at all. the slipped stitches are too wide or something. please help!

ops and i am slipping them purl wise

heres what it looks like-

I KNOW I keep on saying this, but swatching always helps. If you know what it looks like when you knit it flat, it's easier to convert it to the round. PLUS you can see if it sorts itself out when you block it.

I would do k1sl1k4k1sl1 etc on the first row, and sl1k1k4etc on the second. Or slip both stitches on the first row and knit them both on the second- whichever works best for you. But personally, I'd run a lifeline through and put a steam iron over the top of what you've done first and try blocking it before you frog.

hey you!!
im on swatch 20 something now none of them are working. it looks perfect knitted in the flat but very messed up in the round. i know i need to get rid of the +2 b/c they are the selvage stitches. so i changed the pattern to this:

CO with Color A and knit one row.

Row 1 (RS): With Color B, *k4, sl2; rep from *
Row 2: With Color B, *k4, sl2; rep from *
Row 3: With Color A, rep Row 1
Row 4: With Color A, *p4, sl2; rep from *
Rows 5: With Color B, *sl2, k4; rep from *
Row 6: With Color B, *sl2, k4; rep from *
Row 7: With Color A, rep Row 5
Row 8: With Color A, *sl2, p4; rep from *

this is working better BUT it's off the middle of each lattice doesn't match up
with the middle of the next rows lattice.

so i'm getting closer but yet still so far away. ughh i just want to scream! bleh.
