I broke out the maternity pants today!!!!

I didn't come close to needing maternity clothes until about 20+ weeks when I was pregnant with DD.

But today, at just 5 weeks, I am wearing maternity pants to work!!! Technically I can still fit into all my regular pants, but I was so uncomfortable with the waist band putting pressure on my belly.

Baby #2, bring it on!!!!

Anyone else?

Yeah, the bloat gets you faster and faster in subsequent pregnancies.
This time I swear I shape shifted into prego shape even before the bfp.
The good part is that we get to enjoy the rounded pregnant goddess look for nearly 9 months!!

I feel so bloated, but in the mirror I just look fat. I have that fat roll/stretched skin on my low tummy from having babies, and it'll be a little while before my tum is big enough to stretch that out again. I can't wait! Having said that, the bloat is uncomfortable for me as well, and I've been flipping my work pants' waist bands to sit below my belly, and wearing jersey-band capris at home. Totally comfy!

Well I have been wearing maternity shorts. I can still fit in all my regular pants and jeans but really needed a new pair of denim shorts for the summer. I thought it was silly to by a regular pair so I just bought a maternity pair. It is very hot here until late October (S. Texas) so I will definitely need them way before then. Once I am really needing them I will get more than one pair. But I must say they are so darn comfy. I hat having anything even a little snug on my belly while pregnant.

My belly is sore and bruised from injections so I can't have anything snug. I've been wearing dresses and am waiting for some maternity clothes to arrive inthe mail.

This thread has made me feel so much better! I was about to post a question because honestly my uterus feels like it is aching and pushing against my trousers and I 've been worried there's something wrong, I don't remember that from last time. Maybe it's just that i'm expanding already so my tummy is uncomfortable?! I didn't think that would be possible so early!

Unfortunately, I never really lost the all the weight from my first pregnancy. I look now what I looked like at 5 months last time. So depressing!!! I am hoping I can really nurse the weight off this time around. My son and I had to stop nursing at 5 months. I mourned the loss of nursing. Nursing really helped me get weight off but just not enough. I felt so beautiful last pregnancy. I can't wait to really start showing so I stop feeling just plain fat!: I could probably wear my first pair of maternity pants and could wear other maternity clothes, but then people would jsut think I'm farther along than I really am!

I'm still in my regular clothes, thank goodness. I had just started to focus on losing some extra weight I'd picked up (can't blame it on my last baby, unfortunately) when I discovered I was pregnant. I think I'd be heartbroken if I had to deal with feeling even fatter right now.

With my first, I never wore maternity clothes. And my others, I felt like I needed roomier pants at about 8-10 weeks. I'm with you guys, any pressure around the belly is just soooo uncomfy.

Thank you for starting this thread! I have felt so ridiculous unbuttoning my pants because I'm not even at 5 weeks yet! I feel really bloated and have been incredibly anxious about miscarrying since I had some light spotting on Wednesday. I saw my doctor today and she said my cervix is still closed. : Next week I'll get a call about my hcg levels.
Glad I'm not the only one feeling chubby already!

Well, I fit into my regular clothes at the beginning of the summer break, and I still do really, but they are definitely not comfortable. My tummy feels TENDER, so yes, I am wearing maternity as well (although not today, the jean shorts I have on today are quite roomy).

I think I'm going to try one of those bella bands, this time. They look pretty neat. Anyone else use them?

I bought two off of ebay. The lace ones were cheaper there for me. I *did* find someone fairly local that sells them though if I want more in the future.

I wore them a couple of times. Sometimes the support from there was very comforting, sometimes I wanted them OFF.

Not sure if they really helped keep my pants up or not.

I went ahead and picked up a maternity shirt that was clearanced out at Target today, as well as a super cute jersey skirt...lots of stretch!

I hate the switch to maternity clothes. I have so few of them that I'm sick of them after a few months!
