herbs for labor jumpstart?

Anyone ever used something called Master Gland or 5W both by Nature's Sunshine?

I am told these are good for kickstarting labor. Never even heard if them before but my SIL was telling me about them.

Hmm, I've never heard of either of them. I don't see anything in the Master Gland that is usually used for starting labor, and a few of the herbs should not be used during labor. The 5W might be beneficial for your labor overall if taking it the last few weeks like it suggests, but there's nothing in it that will "kickstart" labor by only taking it at the every end.

My midwife has her first time moms take 5w for the last few weeks.
The point is not to kick start labor, but just to prime your body so that when your baby is ready, your body will be too. I'm 40 weeks day today, and have been taking it since week 36.
