what sling to supplement Ergo?

I have been thinking that besides the Ergo it would be nice to have another sling to wear around the house or outside in the summer. I have a 6-month-old baby. In the warm weather she gets hot in the Ergo. We could just use that and it would be OK but it would also be nice to have something very simple that I could just throw on and pop her in and out. I tried a Maya ring sling a few times but found it bulky and difficult to adjust. A friend's Moby seemed daunting to figure out how to wrap/unwrap. Any suggestions?

If you're looking for something super simple, maybe a pouch? People on TBW love Comfy Joey pouches. My recommendation would be a linen ringsling (or solarveil?) like from Sleeping Baby Productions or Sakura Bloom, but that's much like a Maya Wrap in terms of adjusting.

I have an Ergo and a few hotslings which I love. DD is 18 months and 25 pounds, and I still sling her in the hip carry a lot. I use the Ergo for longer outings, and the sling for indoors, quick trips to the store, etc.

I liked the Moby, but mostly for the newborn -4ish month stage. After that it wasn't as comfortable for me. It really wasn't hard to figure out though. Not at all. It looks intimidating, but after a few times you'd have it down.

What about a Mai Tai? Isn't that the same general concept of the Moby, but less structured and lighter? It would be easier to transport and cooler in the summer. I might be thinking of the wrong thing though.
