Anyone still sleeping on their back?

I know, I know, I am not supposed to be sleeping on my back, but it just feels so good. I try to start out on my side, but I always end up on my back and am not uncomfortable so I stay that way. Anyone else?

I was wondering about this too. I still am comfortable laying on my back, and end up on my back even though I start the night on my side. I try to stay on my back but I am thinking that if I am still comfortable I think I am ok. But I still worry sometimes.

I have been trying really hard not to. Sometimes I will lay a flatter pillow vertically under one side of my back (like from shoulder to rump), so that I am kind of at an angle and not flat on my back. That seems to help. I have still been waking up sometimes on my back. I don't know if I actually notice a difference with my breathing/blood flow when I am on my back, but I think I do. It is all probably psychosomatic though. I have a tendency to do that with things.

Yes. I try to stay on my left side, but will occasionally go to the right side to give the left hip a break. I wake up on my back a lot.

DDC crashing from September - My MW told me that as long as I'm comfortable lying on my back, it's fine. She said that if it was hurting anything, my body would let me know (by becoming uncomfortable) and I would want to move

if you feel fine, it's fine. If I lay on my back now, I can't breathe and feel bad. I have been sleeping on my side/stomach though, that feels great for my back

I can't it cuts off the breathing

I always start on my left side but frequently wake up on my back. I am always a back sleeper during pregnancy, and never any other time, oddly.

When I lay on my back I feel like I am suffocating and it is really hard to get back up. I'm like a turtle stuck upside down on its shell when I lay on my back

The strange thing is that I was very uncomfortable and had a harder time breathing, and this lasted for about a month. This has gone away and now, no problems and I am best on my back.

I turn on my back too and M/W says it's fine as long as I feel OK.

Some nights when I am putting DD to sleep and I'm on my side I start to feel like I'm suffocating and have to move/sit up for a minute. M/W says that I am probably cutting off the artery or something in that position. It's not a good feeling at all.

So if that's anything lie what feel on your back if it's hurting you- you would definitely wake up and know to move. There's no arguing with feeling like you're suffocating!

Nope. It feels like my lungs are being crushed and then my arms go numb. Always wakes me up feeling like an upturned beetle.
