agreed on all these:
"
Morning sickness will go away after the first trimester". Mine lasted until about 20wks, and then also returned at week 35 or so.
"
You'll have a lot of cravings/weird cravings". If anything, the mr. would say my food wants became more 'normal' since I wanted more meat/eggs/protein than before and I usually oddly don't want those things

"
You'll have to cut your hair short, because the baby will want to play with it, and you won't want to mess with it." My hair is also long, haven't had the babe yet, but hope I don't feel like I need to cut it! My mom likes to tell me her scary story of finding one of her hairs wrapped around my older brother's finger tight under a roll of flesh, cutting off circulation.
You'll get hemmorhoids, varicose veins, and constipation.- None for me either. I have pretty 'loose' digestion usually anyway, so pregnancy just made me more normal I think.
Everyone wears maternity clothes. I got one item, a maternity running skirt
You just get so big you can't reach anything down below. Still have no problem here at 41 weeks tying my shoes, doing yoga, etc.
Everyone gets stretch marks...don't worry they fade. none yet, knock on wood!
"It will be easy to give up coffee, the smell alone will make you sick" I've also had half-caf all through the third trimester.
others that weren't quite accurate for me:
You'll have to stop running/biking/playing disc by X months for SURE! never stopped

played disc last week, still biking to work. I did stop playing ice hockey at 13wks since its contact though
You're gonna get HUGE! (from a coworker whose wife I guess does get huge) um, nope, only gained 18lbs or so, and w/ my already super large frame I feel pretty much the same, not unwieldy at all and not that big. I didn't even show until the 7th month either.
You're gonna have to get up 5x a night to pee I know why this hasn't happened for me, babe is super high, I have a lot of amniotic fluid I guess, but yeah, still at 41wks, don't get up to pee in the night more than maybe once at 5am.
You're not going to be able to sleep on your back um, still sleeping on my back. I try not to since they say you shouldn't, but I keep ending up there anyway. I figure my body would say something if it was really not a good thing.
You're gonna waddle! still not waddling. Granted, its cause babe hasn't dropped yet and I have super wide hips, but Ill take it!
