potato question

Hi ladies,
I grew some potatoes from chunks of potatoes that had seen better days, just for fun.....but they really took off.
My question is, will they gor more potatoes under the dirt, or is the plant all just from that one chunk of potato that I started with?

This is the only way I grow potatos. Our family never had much luck with "seed" potatos, so we just make sure we have our favs from the store on handin advance, and let them sprout.
They do fantastic!
Seed and regualr potatos are pretty much the same thing.

as long as they had an eye on them they'll grow.

It's how we've always grown them too, we use the left over potatoes from the year before.
