She was telling me about this book that her husband gave her about discipline, she didn't tell me who it was by but she told me the title, and it's "How to train up a child"...AKA the PEARL method...I've heard horrible stories about this and I don't think she's making the right choice...she is very ap on most things, breastfeeding, CDing, BLW, babywearing, everything...but this. Her husband comes from a very strict brazilian family and she is saying that everything in the book is scripturally based. What, if anything should I tell her? Does anyone have any good, CHRISTIAN anti-Pearl resources I could tell her about?
