OH NO! pls tell me its ok!

There was a sposie in my diaper pail! and i washed it.
we have some my mom bought us and i use them sometimes for going out and sometimes overnight. DP swears it wasnt him and I cant believe i would have done it but somebody put one in the pail. I just washed a stinky pail full (just dumped the bag in, didnt see it) and then stripped them; rinsed a whole lot of times. moved them to the dryer and found the outside remains of the newborn sposie. those things are full of chemicals arent they? how bad is it that it came apart and was washed with the diapers? crap crap i cant believe that happened!

-oh no it must have been me; i remember i put one on him when we took his brother to kung fu because he hadnt pooped all day and i remember taking it off him just wet when we got back. i cant believe i put it in the pail and not the garbage!

Just think of all the babies who get the crystals on their bare bums from disposables every time they wear them. On your diapers is fine- if you are concerned or if there are crystals on them do a rinse.

I seem to remember doing that once - it was fine! I just washed again.

dh did this at the laundromat!! he got yelled at in spanish by some lady that worked there

Oh gosh. What I have washed:

Breast pads (disposable)
Pantiliners (disposable)
Disposable diapers
My driver's license
Money (lots, lots, lots of money)
A box of paperclips
A tiny spiral notebook
Lip gloss
More lip gloss
In fact I have washed my lip gloss more times than I can count
A citizen watch (still works!)
A newspaper (don't ask, and yes, it was EVERYWHERE)
A crayon
A sharpie pen (by the grace of the good Lord Almighty the cap stayed on)

The list goes on. I personally would not re-wash. It was probably all rinsed out. If you use 'sposies occasionally, the minimal exposure from after the wash is probably less than your child gets when wearing 'sposies when out. Seriously.
