Heavy Baby Kit at Joy's Waldorf Dolls--A Review :)

Well, I just wanted to tell everybody that I made my two year old daughter a heavy baby (little baby) from the kit at Joy's Waldorf Dolls. At first, I was planning to wimp out and purchase a pre-made head and pre-sewn body....but I didn't. It took me two nights to make...and turned out really really well. My daughter loves it...and was calling it "my baby" ever since she saw the head.

Now my two older boys want their own heavy babies...although my eldest wants a "Heavy Batman."

I am an extreme beginner. My only sewing experience is a three hour class at Joanne's Fabrics where I made a pillowcase...and sewing on buttons.

Adorable! You did such a nice job.

I love those kits. I've made a Heavy Baby for my dd, a Little Baby for my ds2, and am making my ds3 his own Little Baby for Christmas this year.
