Where to find doll clothes?

DS likes to dress his teddy bear in clothes sometimes, but Target only offers a very few items, and the clothes at Build A Bear are too big.

I prefer brick-and-mortar stores over ordering stuff off the internet for stuff like this -- any suggestions?

There's a place called Noah's Ark Workshop that is like Build a Bear but is run with home parties, like Tupperware. The bears are smaller than Build a Bear bears, so the clothes might fit. They're as expensive as Build a Bear though. But if you could find a local representative, you'd have a lot of choices.

I'm now sure how big his teddy bear is but maybe try Walmart in the baby section I seen lots of preemie clothes for $1 each there the other day. hth

Ys, that. i found that store made "doll clothes" are SO EXPENSIVE!! But ds's old preemie/newborn clothes fit really well, but i wantd to save them, lol, so we go thrift store shopping, or clearnace shopping, and pickup preemie/newborn size regular baby clothes for SO MUCH CHEAPER than "doll clothes".

Thanks for the suggestions!

Yes, this current obsession with dressing his teddy started when we were out buying preemie clothes for my SIL's twins. All the brands except Carter's looked too big for the bear, though, and the Carter's onesies only came in a 5-pack, for $15 -- to me, that's a lot to spend on clothes for a teddy bear!

Maybe I'll just wait until my SIL's twins outgrow their preemie clothes (they won't even be born until August though) and then ask if I can have 1 or 2 things for the bear.

I will check Walmart's baby section -- I was at BRU before, and things do tend to be expensive there. Thanks for the tip!

Places like Michaels and other craft stores sometimes have these.

Our local dollar stores carry some items for the build a bear size animals. I got DD a really cute sweater for $1.

I saved all my favorite outfits from DD so she has a basket of those for her bear.

Craft stores carry some items too and if you have a coupon it wouldn't be that expensive.

A lot of DD's doll clothes are preemie outfits we picked up at garage sales, usually for $1-$2. The real doll clothes don't fit anyhow once she gets a cloth diaper on her doll! Her doll wears infant-sized socks and has 2 pair of 0-6mo Target-brand knock-off Robeez that were DD's when she was an infant.

Do you have a Marshall's near you? I picked up a 5 pack of onsies for 5.99 today. They had a big assortment of boy and girl. The Garanimals line at Walmart is very cheap and usually has preemie sizes.
