lost my thread?

I can't find my thread and it is entirely possible it was removed, but it doesn't say so in the sub-forum it was in, what's up with that?
FWIW it was in activism and it was about AIDS.

Is "took a dive" a technical problem? Or are we not permitted to talk about HIV/AIDS on the Mothering board?

No it means it crashed and burned, went up in flames, that the discussion became so heated that it had to be removed.

There is no limitation on the discussion of HIV/AIDS as long as people discuss it rationally, just as any other topic.

Well if one reads the Activism guidelines one would observe that Activism doesn't host debate, which that thread was full of.
