Vaginal delivery in the OR with atleast 25 hosptial staff in the room. I am definitately looking forward to a more laidback intimate delivery.

I want to join! Im feeling overwhelmed for very different reasons than with my first son.

Name: Deborah

EDD: Feb 23 '10

Other children and their ages: Evan 2.5yr

Hometown/state/province: Kirkland, WA

Occupation (SAHM or work outside the home): SAHM

Birth plans: GH in Capital Hill with Midwife and Doula and a Tub

Thoughts about this pregnancy: Baby is moving which has made me feel happy and more involved. I feel sad that this may be my last baby. I feel anxious since we may be moving soon into a new house. My son was a planned homebirth which ended in csec...so Im nervous about baby #2. Sometimes I exercise, sometimes I dont, and I feel like the weight is not my friend. Im excited to buy new diapers for this baby and break out my moby wrap again and to nurse again.

Sorry, I just saw this now! Nope, not from the SF Bay area, although compared to winter in Stockholm that sounds nice right about now .

A little slow on the uptake

Wow, I feel like I am cutting this close....

Nameblivious

EDD: February 8th 2010

Other children and their ages:Peanut (Girl) 20 months

Hometown/state/province: Coloradian living in Canada

Occupation (SAHM or work outside the home): SAHM

Birth plans: Hospital with Hypnobirthing. Ideally, it would be a homebirth with a midwife, but I couldn't get one to come where I was. I did hire an awesome doula though.

Thoughts about this pregnancy: I am very excited about this little boy. This pregnancy has done a lot for me in terms of realizing things about myself and how I live my life. We hope to have many children so this labor experience will hopefully be different than last time.

It is nice to meet all of you!

EDD: February 16 2010!

Other children and their ages: none!

Hometown/state/province: Seattle, WA

Occupation (SAHM or work outside the home): I'm not really a SAHM yet, but I'm not employed either...

Birth plans: Home birth, with a doula (and midwife of course), I plan to use some form of hypnosis or meditation to cope with the pain, and I have a tub in case I want to use it. She'll get immediate skin-to-skin contact through her first feeding. She'll initiate the feeding. The cord will be cut and the injections given after her first feeding.

Thoughts about this pregnancy: It was a bit sooner than expected, but it's been fun and such a learning experience!
