I'm a babywearing addict...I'm so excited to be wearing a little one again since my daughter hasn't wanted to be worn much since she started walking at one year. I've got two ring slings (maya wrap and ellaroo), a homemade gauze wrap, an ergo, an ellaroo podaegi, an ultimate baby wrap (like a moby only cheaper & less supportive so I've read) and a hotsling pouch.
I think I should be able to afford one luxury item between now and when the baby is born and I've done some reading and have decided on either a Freehand Mei Tai or a Storchenwiege Wrap. Which would you recommend?
I'm leaning toward the wrap because I loved using the gauze wrap with my daughter but it stopped be supportive enough after about six months. I carried her rucksack style as a swaddled newborn and loved it.
Since I have an ergo I think I might get less use out of the mei tai, any thoughts? Oh, and for what it is worth, I don't do facing out carries so I wouldn't be using the wrap like that (unless my baby turns out to be one of those that only likes that, of course).
So, what do you all think? TIA!
