I finally finished them

I purchased the book "Knitting Circles around socks" to learn how to knit 2 at a time on 2 circular needles and I finally finished my first pair. They are far from perfect, but I'm thrilled with how they turned out and love the method. It was so fast and no second sock syndrome. It's a great option for me who doesn't really like Magic looping.
Here's a picture of them...nothing fancy, just inexpensive worsted yarn. But, woohoo, I did it!

Yay! Those are great! I feel so cool walking around in socks that I made! What fun making them both at the same time, instant wearability. Good luck with toe-up. I totally love making socks toe-up. They fit me perfectly with no real measuring.

Very nice! I'm getting into knitting socks lately, after declaring that I was a non-sock knitter. The idea of wearing handmade socks is just too appealing!

Oh you should. They are super comfortable. I'm highly motivated to finish my next pair.

I'm working on a pair now--got some Knitpicks Imagination hand-painted for a great price from a Ravelry member--sooo soft--yummy merino and alpaca. I'm using the stitch pattern from knitty's Thuja --seed stitch rib, just two rows to the pattern. I'm doing one at a time on Magic Loop. I did a pair of worsted weight socks two at once toe up earlier this year, and the yarn tangling and shifting of the work and cable with two socks at once drove me crazy.

Thanks! I've started on my next pair. I love the portability of sock knitting.
