I am looking for more places to buy used books. So far I use ebay, half.com & amazon.com are there anymore cheap, reliable places out there?

You don't buy books here, you just put them on your wish list and when you're first in line you get your book. It can take a while for the more popular books, but if you're like me and always find books you want to read, you'll get books all the time.

www.bookfinder.com searches many used book sites and tells you where to find the books you need.

I've bought & received many books from abebooks. They always show up timely and as described... some for 99cents plus shipping.

Also, I'd like to absolutely agree and disagree!! I'm currently packing us up for a cross country move... the # of boxes containing books actually outnumber the # of boxes containing housegoods AND clothing combined. I'm sort of surprised but not really, I guess. Its quite alot of weight but I have gone thru & donated so many & just cannot part with the rest. Ugh. I think we have tagged an addiction here!!

Yes your right it can be overwhelming when you love books so much. I have managed to keep my addiction down to around 500 books. But I still need to finish out my Star Trek collection.
