i'm not actually looking to replace a meal, but rather for a snack to add calories. but i want the most natural preferably organic ingredients, meaning nothing i cant pronounce

Not organic but Lara Bars are generally just dried dates, nuts and spices (real spices like cinnamon and nutmeg--not mysterious spices). I really wish they were organic but the fix for that is to make them yourself. Really easy to do and there are recipes all over the internet.

I like the LARA bars for a quick snack. They're big on tree nuts though so if you're allergic, steer clear. Most of them have way too many ingredients for me/us.

I just found Pure bars the other day and it was a great choice, organic, raw, 'normal' ingredients, and gluten-free (which I needed).

I was happy with it and will certainly buy them again.

Another vote for lara bars!

All raw nuts & dried fruits. No added sugar. Everything's 7 ingredients or less.

Pecan Pie is delicious (Dates, Pecans, Almonds)

So is Key Lime Pie (Dates, Cashews, Almonds, Unsweeted Coconut, Lime Juice Concentrate)

GLUTEN FREE * DAIRY FREE * SOY FREE * NON-GMO * VEGAN * KOSHER

I talked with one of their reps and they said the reason they're not certified organic is because they couldn't yet find reliable suppliers for their ingredients in the quality & quantity they needed.
