16:9 show - segment on restoration/circumcision

Last night, I turned on the TV just as I hear "foreskin restoration." My DH is restoring, so I call him into the room, all excited. They talk briefly about restoring, the man they are interviewing is keeping his identity hidden, so it seems like it's some underground thing.

Then within a minute, the show turns completely pro-circ (imo) and talks to parents who circ'ed, talks to doctors who say it's a good thing, and then states the 60% HIV reduction in circ'ed males.

I am sooooo upset that a show like this would me made and aired in Canada.

FYI, they don't let you watch unless they think your computer is in Canada. If anybody wants to point their camcorder at the computer screen and mail me a MiniDV tape, I'll cover your costs.

I'm trying to find a video capture add on for firefox that will pick it up. I've tried 3 so far. It's in a finiky format. I'll let you know if I get it.

I have a friend sending me the video. If I can get it online I will.
