I have heard (and read on here) so many stories of men going in with a simple infection and circ is the recommended solution. My son had a UTI when he was 9 weeks old, and literally within 30 seconds of getting the diagnosis the dr was talking to me about circ'ing him.
Yeah, but your husband had zero problems with his penis or foreskin. I think being "on guard" was rather unnecessary in this case, just because he's a urologist doesn't mean he sees a foreskin and wants to chop it off.
