Mallow?

Thread Starter
We have a great Korean market down the street, and we got a little ambitious when planting our garden this year, using some of the Korean seeds.

Now, the mallow is growing fabulously, but I can't find much information on how to cook it. The launguage barrier at my Korean store is high, and I can't get good information from them.

I was wondering if anyone has ever cooked it? If so, what did you do with it?

Check this out: http://www.henriettesherbal.com/faqs...21-mallow.html

She says that mallow is very very nutritionally benifical, and raw is very mild, so can be used for salads etc.

It can be cooked into soups, stews, casseroles, sauces etc. (probably in a similar fashion to kale or spinach)

My mother makes mallow rolls (like cabbage rolls) that are SO yummy. She uses spicy italian sausage, rice, red and yellow peppers and black beans as a filling. She rolls it up in the mallow leaves, and then covers it with marinara.

mmmmmmmmmmm.... :
