Do cloth pads Really cause less cramping?

Just curious what you have found. I am having my 2nd AF since DS was born and I have almost no cramps (which is unusual) and have generally felt better during AF than I usually do...is it because I'm still Bfing or is the pads? What have you guys found?

It seemed to me like I had less cramps when I switched to cloth pads (I was breastfeeding before and after I switched to cloth pads). My mom agrees. I haven't seen AF yet (yay!) so haven't had a chance to try out my DivaCup.

Yay for cloth!

Definitely. When I got AF back after ds (at 15 mos, was hoping it would go longer, lol!) I was using reg. disposable pads and my cramps and such were so bad I would be out of commission for two days.

I switched to cloth and after 2 cycles of using it, I didn't have anymore cramps, no more having to lay in bed for 2 days! It really does make a difference.

Wow! Well...I used to be laying in bed all day, horrible cramps, just not myself...but not this time or last time! I felt pretty much fine. Does anyone have any info on why this would happen with cloth? I would love to read up on it!

I too am curious why. Anyone?

I wonder about the bleach, glue, chemicals etc...

For me they have meant less cramps. And for that I am much appreciative.
