Calcium/magnesium supplementing

We're dairy free now. I do eat some cheese still (because I love it) but my 4 yo dd doesn't have any dairy. So my questions for dairy free mamas:
Do any of you supplement for calcium with powders or vitamins/chewables? Which ones?
Do you *need* to also supplement magnesium?
What's your take on the vitamin c : absorption, and do you also supplement C, then?

She is picky so I want her to get enough of these things although I know food sources would be best, I think she'd be happy to have a gummy vitamin for everything but I don't want to depend on candy-like vitamins so I am avoiding giving her those.

Thanks for your ideas!

We use a calcium/magnesium liquid vitamin by Floradix. It is a bit expensive but I think it is one of the best. If your dd doesn't like the taste you can put it in smoothies or juice ect.
