could it be allergies or chicken pox?

so my son has been breaking out in little red bumps everywhere , we think that it might be chicken pox . But now he is breaking out in a rash , it started on his face and now its down in his private areas (looks like a diaper rash) but if it was a diaper rash why would it be on his face? ummm he is 14 mths old and we just moved to a different county so we dont have his insurance transferred yet... can anyone perhaps help me? im not aware of him having any allergies

Has he eaten something new? Did you try giving him benedryl? How old is he?

Could you post a pic ofthe rash? Have you googled for chicken pox pics? (Say that 3 times fast!)

Chicken pox rash quick quickly gets little blisters - google for pictures and you'll see - when it first shows up, it can be hard to tell from other stuff, but in a day or two, it would be obvious.

Was he rolling around in grass, or anything like that?

he is 14 months old and ummm i started looking around more and well i think it is a heat rash, but im calling the insurance company tommorow to get everything swapped and take him to the doctor , i cannot take a picture right now because im not on my pc , so i cant load it on this computer. but when i findout what it is i will take a pic of it and tell you all , so incase this happens to your child you wont freak out like i am. ooo also he has a new symptom everything is like really itchy , and well when i gave him some benedryl he was still itchy but he wasnt wyning as much and played alot more... and was really sleepy of course .... but i will let you all know
