I'm leaking amniotic fluid

My midwife gave me some strips so I could test myself if I think I'm leaking.
This morning I was really damp and kind of dark pee colored on my panty liner So I tested and it was positive.
Haven't gotten hold of the midwife yet, but I'm hoping the dark color doesn't mean anything bad. I have such bad bladder control right now I can't tell what's what.
I'm a bit crampier than usual and having contractions, but I've been having contractions for weeks, so who knows....

hopefully something will happen soon- I'll be 41 weeks on Thursday and feel SO ready!

Maybe the darker color was because you are having bloody show also and it is mixed up in there?

Anyway, good luck, and I hope this is a good sign!
