I wanted to call ours The Squib but DH says it makes it sound like he misfired or something.

Yeah, I think it's hilarious. But the name of the baby has morphed in the past couple of days to be MukMuk, who is another one of the mascots (and is kind of the little sidekick of the mascots). So now I'm giving birth to a marmot instead of a sasquatch. Should be easier on me at least!

Funny little names

This is my first pregnancy and it wasn't planned, since I took a home pregnancy test last week I've been trying to decide if I'm in a position to take this baby or get an abortion.

It's been stressful trying to figure out what I want and I have been depending on the support of my friends. In the million e-mails I send back and forth to my best friend I mentioned in one that it was amazing to me that something the size of a sesame seed could cause such a emotional crisis.

She told me in her e-mail that I'd figure out what I wanted to do. She told me that she loved me. Then she told me that she loved my sesame seed. And I melted.

I try to describe to my kids the size of our baby using everyday stuf.
and since babe is ever growing the "name" does too.

Lil dot, rice-crispy, maccaroni, lima bean, mr peanut, and so forth. Eventually we'll get to Lumpy (the young heffalump from Pooh stories)
