Maybe Twins.... 2 sacs one heartbeat

I had my second ultrasound today, which puts me at 7 weeks. And like last week I have 2 sacs but can only see one heartbeat. The other sac looks empty sometimes, but sometimes no.
I don't get another ultrasound for 2 weeks. (I will be 9 weeks.)
I have no idea what to think, or expect. The doctor told me it's common to have trouble seeing one.
Has anyone had a similar situation? I really want them both. I've had a horrible time getting pregnant and well, clearly my body wanted 2....
What do you think?

I think I'll pray for you that you see another baby in two weeks. You should be able to tell next time.

Unfortunately, there's no way of knowing until things progress further. I wish you ease in the waiting.

FWIW, my "empty sac" is running around making an awful nuisance of himself today.

I hope everything works out for you. :

I had my Dr. appt. earlier today (I am 10weeks/4 days) & received similar news.

The Dr. thinks there is 2 sacs, but only one heartbeat. I'm seeing a specialist tomorrow to hopefully get a more definite answer.

Hi!
Unfortunately my twin didn't make it. I've been labelled as having a twin loss.
It's sad.

It's been one heck of a rollercoaster ride, but I am now 20 weeks.

One of our twins did indeed pass away & the other twin does have several "issues" but we're happy to have made it this far.

We're having a little girl & recently found out that she has Down's Syndrome. It was between Trisomy 18 & DS, so we are thrilled that it's "just" Down's Syndrome.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss and hope you are finding support for the DS.
